Therapists
At The Journey, we believe in the transformative power of connection and understanding.
I’m Kate.
As a seasoned clinical supervisor and therapist, I specialize in crafting a safe haven for adults navigating life’s unpredictable terrain. Whether you’re grappling with substance use, wrestling with anxiety and depression, or simply seeking solace in a time of transition, I’m here to walk beside you every step of the way.
Here’s a short list of the issues I treat:
Substance use and misuse
Overwhelm and stress
Persistent sadness and emotional exhaustion
Life transitions: are you quitting a job, exploring sexuality and gender expression, leaving a high-control group, or simply wanting to make a change in your life?
Young adults and adults with Down syndrome
Think of our time together not just as therapy sessions, but as a shared expedition toward healing and growth. Here at The Journey, you’re more than just a client – you’re a fellow traveler, and your story is an integral part of our collective narrative.
So, if you’re ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and resilience, you’ve come to the right place. Let’s set sail together and embrace the adventure that lies ahead.

I’m Maggie.
I am happy you are here! I started my clinical journey in 2020 and have learned a lot about what it means to be a supportive therapist along the way. Though the learning process never ends, one practice that has stayed consistent for me is my ability to walk alongside my clients and tailor my approach to meet their needs. Life is not linear, progress is not linear, so I believe therapy should meet clients where they are at this moment.
Here are some challenges I treat:
Substance use, misuse, and other process addictions (porn use, video games, gambling, etc)
Relationship challenges
Life transitions
Trauma
Anxiety and depression
If you are struggling in another area, please consider scheduling a free consultation call to see if we would be a good fit! I’ve navigated grief and loss with many clients, explored eating related issues, challenged unhelpful beliefs related to self-esteem and body image, and have addressed needs around boundary work. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and understand the importance of creating a safe, supportive space for all people. I hope I can provide a nurturing environment for you to heal and make the most out of the time we have.
